I think this is a great design by Pragmasis to make a secure yet removable anchor. However, how does the chain through the anchor prevent a thief of loosening and removing the plates with a screw driver, and then allowing the leeway he needs to unscrew the underlying bolts? [Pragmasis Comment: The plates are a close fit under the inner bridge piece and are located by a recess in the side of each plate that engages with the inner bridge. Those plates are hardened steel and they can only be removed by lifting them. We say repeatedly that the whole design is only secure if there is a close-fitting chain locked through the whole assembly, and that close-fitting chain prevents any plates being lifted and thus removed. The screws have no impact on the security. They are just there to stop it all rattling. The security is achieved by the way the elements fit together in the design and by everything fundamentally being a close fit. I hope that clarifies? Thanks, Steve.]

Very happy with this extremely sturdy ground anchor, and also that I can move it at any time if I wish without having to buy a new one. Very good and clear instructions, easy to fit.

Easy to install, secure as anything I have ever seen - make sure you get the additional drill bit though, it is a quality bit - but makes the job a million times easier!

The double doofer is great because its removable (perfect for rented accommodation) however, still very strong giving me peace of mind for my bike locked in the shed. David was prompt with advice and posting the bits that I needed for this Kit. If bike security is needed then definitely go through this company.

It is used to secure by moto in a shared open space garage and combo does its job quite well.

I have this anchor on my garage floor used with the Protector 19mm chain, securing 3 mountain bikes. I feel happy I have the best there is when leaving the house

I was surprised how heavy this anchor is, solid build and I ended mounting it to my wall since my floor was too weak .. solid and easy to mount!

Also great that it comes with everything you need, drill bit, screws, tools! Great !

I have recently moved home and need a secure anchor to secure my motorbike too.
I did have a Torc anchor at my previous house and was very impressed so Pragmasis was my first port of call to see what was on offer.
I wanted a removable anchor as my shed is full of asbestos so when that's removed and a new shed is built I can move the bike into it's new home and use a permanent anchor such as the excellent Torc pragmasis sell.
It was easy to fit, my top tip is to use a 10mm masonry drill bit to start off the holes as this size drill bit fits in the bolt holes of the bottom plate.
Once I fitted an extra adaptor plate my Almax series 3 chain fits perfectly and i can sleep safe in the knowledge that my bike is totally secure.
I highly recommended this, excellent bit of kit.
The cherry on the cake is that this will be very handy to secure my motorbike trailer and mountain bikes in the future.

I bought the Double Doofer Deal for my new bike, and the service and delivery were very fast, I was even e-mailed on a Sunday to confirm some details. The Doofer, chain and lock are exactly as described, and the fitting kit had all I needed (except the power tools!)

This is a brilliant piece of security, and they make it so simple to install. Even the drill-bit is pre marked with tape for the correct depth to drill the holes! They've thought of everything so you don't have to worry. They state it's a 'close fit' with a 19mm chain, and that's spot on...it fits perfectly with my existing 19mm chain! Ideal ground anchor (and chain) for my application, where the location wil shortly be moved.

I bought this together with the 16mm chain and and padlock and it's really, really good. We all know that a professional thief will steal you car or motorcycle if they really want it but this chain, lock and anchor combo will deter all but the most determined crooks! I mounted it on a wall of my house. Excellent service as well.

I now have two of these and think they are great. My preference would be to have a ground anchor that folds down when not in use but I didn't want to put anything permanent in the locations I am using so this fits the bill perfectly. It is a clever setup for a ground anchor that seems as secure as possible yet completely removable.

The Double Doofer was easy to install and looks impressive. I can't find any fault with the product or installation instructions. I'm using it with an 16mm Protector chain and a Squire SS65CS padlock. Just the sight of them alone should put any thief off.

Definitely happier having my bike chained to this anchor, using the anti-pinch pin. I am very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone who is renting who may need to remove the anchor in future.

Secured to a wall, with two bikes attached. Great kit and instructions, right down to a piece of tape around the drill bit to indicate correct depth; couldn't have been easier to install.

I bought this Anchor in combination with 16mm chain 2,5m and SS65CS lock for my two offroad bikes. I really couldn't get any better as it was really easy to install and the 16mm diam. chain is still good enough to handle but pretty sure not for thief. Alarm has been installed as well so I have a good sleep now.

Very clever design that uses the chain to hold a cover plate over the anchors securing bolts. Easy to install and a great option of you may need to move the anchor at some point.
I use this with the bolt cropper proof 16mm chain and round lock package deal to secure my mountain bike. Very happy to now have a proper security setup, thanks guys !!

The fabrication, materials and finish on this, is top notch, love the double protection you get from the base plate and the anti theft cover too, nice touch. You get everything you need to install this, you just need a decent drill to drive the supplied bit.

I bought this Double Doofer knowing that I need to remove it in a year from now. The double shell design makes it a beast of an anchor and I sleep extremely well at night knowing the anchor is going nowhere. I used the extra SDS Plus bit with a hired SDS drill and had the fitting holes drilled in minutes. The supplied spacing plates work perfectly for smaller chains and now I have the Protector 19mm chain with no spacing plates. Make sure the ground area you're going to place it in is flat enough to include the second cover as well without any movement.

Setup: Squire SS65CS-XLN padlock / Protector 19mm chain / Double Doofer ground anchor

Very easy to install, I wanted an anchor that I could easily move at a later date. Installed within 30 minutes with the fitting kit supplied.

This is an awesome piece of kit. It arrived with everything I needed for installation and installing was easy! Even in the 60 year old concrete floor... I borrowed an SDS drill and it's owner for help help install, both of which I recommend. The chucks on the SDS were more secure and held the bit better than the straight shank (which I also ordered and tried out).

Instructions were really clear and helpful, and now my bike is feeling snug as a bug in the garage of my first home.

Going to order a new chain from Pragmasis soon, as the quality of the double doofer has impressed me so much.

I recently took delivery from Pragmasis of a system of items for securing my motorcycle. The package comprised; 16mm Protector Chain, Double Doofer anchor, Squire SS65CS padlock and Anti-Pinch Pin. Everything is of excellent build quality, and the inclusion of bolts, drill bit (marked for depth) and hex (‘Allen’) key, hole clearing tube, and comprehensive and clear instructions made the installation so much easier.
The Double Doofer is a very clever and robust design, and once in situ (wall mounted) looks very tidy. The adjusting plates that it utilises means it is a very good fit for the chain, so it cannot be tampered with once the chain is fitted. It takes me seconds to secure the bike once in position, and it would take a pretty determined thief to get past the house alarm and then have to tackle the Pragmasis system.

In search of an excellent high safety system for securing my bike I found Pragmasis. I am very lucky because it seems there is nothing comparable in whole Austria.
The double doofer ground anchor together with the massive 19mm protector chain and the SS65CS-XLN padlock is a really highest-level protection system. And I think as long as there are so many other bikes less or not additional secured at all, the thieves will choose those bikes instead of mine.
The ground anchor came perfectly packed together with the entire fixing kit. After I fixed it to the concrete floor, I pulled one end of the heavy 19mm chain through. Then I put a SFB RoundLock RL21A through this end link, to make it impossible to pull it back. The RoundLock together combined with the 19mm chain end link is too big to pass the double doofer anchor. Therefore, I have the whole length of the chain available, and don’t need the chain in double length (the chain is really heavy!). On the other end I use the Anti-Pinch Pin together with the SS65CS-XLN padlock to lock the bike.
PERFECT SOLUTION, thanks to Pragmasis for the ideas, the implementation and the highest quality!
