Why buy this D-lock and not another brand? This is a motorcycle grade lock with a 16mm shackle the Record 42" boltcutter can't crop. Other locks may have a cropable shackle, if the shackle is 16mm or bigger it should not be cropped but these locks is higher priced. Sometimes it can be hard to compare locks if they are not tested, but I believe that this lock is hard to defeat.

Both the large and small DIB lock purchased as they offered greater flexibility than a padlock to secure some machinery with the 16mm chain. Reassuringly sturdy and very smooth to operate. Would not hesitate recommending.

Purchased DIB lock and IImm chain with noose link for carry on motorcycle security. Chose this package as it enables lots of different combinations to lock motorcycle to either immovable objects or through the frame and wheels. Despite 11mm chain not being recommended for carry on security,(I chose it for weight and packaged size to carry on my motorcycle), the quality and overall visual deterrent is outstanding, as is the DIB Lock. I have great confidence in Pragmasis products having previously purchased lock and chain for home security. Thanks for providing these fantastic products.

As the owner of a specialist electric bicycle costing as much as many motorcycles and more awkward to lock than many bicycles, I purchased both sizes of DIB D-lock along with a 1.5m noose end 13mm Protector chain and RoundLock package, all keyed alike. Customer service was excellent, I received the products quickly and was kept informed during the process.

After a couple of weeks of regular use, I'm getting on well with the locks and chain. I'm very impressed with how sturdy and well-made they feel and I especially like quality features like the DIB sliding keyhole covers.

Together they definitely make up for only having bottom-of-one-wheel stands available as locking points in my building's communal cycle garage.

If I had access to standard Sheffield stand bike parking with multiple locking points at home, the chain would be unnecessary - the DIB D-locks have a higher Sold Secure rating than any chain with a low enough weight to not risk bending bicycle spokes.

My static security strategy uses the larger DIB to lock the rear wheel and one chainstay to the wheel stand, secures the noose end of the Protector chain to the same stand and then pulls that through the smaller DIB D-Lock and the front wheel, locking that D-lock to the frame and through the last link in the chain, forming a tight 'figure 8' around the front wheel.

Having keyed-alike locks makes the whole process of locking and unlocking faster than might sound.

When I'm away from home, the Protector chain stays behind locked in the garage, I take the two DIB D-Locks with me as Sold Secure Motorcycle Gold rated portable security.

For shorter stay parking, the battery remains locked to the eBike. There's space inside even the smaller DIB shackle to fit frame, wheel and stand, but a step-through frame and seatpost-mounted battery limit possible locking points making it very awkward to secure both wheels to the frame and stand in this way.

To work around this, I use a folding lock (or flex cable) and my bike's built in frame lock as secondary security for locking the wheels to the frame. I can then use the DIB D-locks to easily lock the front and rear of the frame to the cycle parking stand without having to worry about also getting a wheel through each shackle.

The larger DIB fits around both seatstays and a Sheffield stand.

All in all, I'm very pleased with my keyed-alike Pragmasis locks and chain and would happily recommend them to anyone else looking to secure a high value electric bicycle both at home and when out and about.

having a BMW C400GT with quite small wheels I was unsure which lock to get didn't want a disc lock as the discs were small,
so opted for 2 of these Locks 130mm and 190mm with noose chain for when required,
they both fit perfectly 190 on front and 130 on the back, great quality and good value in my opinion

Bought the 190mm to lock through my front discs on a Moto Guzzi V85TT with spokes and large centre hub. Couldnt get the roundlock to fit the disc but this u bolt fits through both discs and spokes neatly. Can also add my 16mm chain if needed. Great versatility and value for money.

T DIB D lock is very sturdy, it is also quite heavy but that is good. The red finish of the body stands out well. The locking mechanism seems to work very well.

Solid reassuring D lock. I used these on my scooter to secure both wheels through front and rear forks using two different lengths.

These locks seem very well made while not too expensive. They are heavy. I got a 26 cm and a 30 cm one, with the keyed-alike option (that means six identical keys) and this makes life much simpler. Getting the keys right and all the way to the end can be a little tricky, you have to handle things methodically.

Bought four of these (keyed alike) to secure my motorcycles to a Pragmasis ground anchor and chain and they are ideal. Reasonably portable too for use as a disc lock and have even used them to secure my more expensive bicycle on rides out. Delivery times were excellent and I am very pleased.

First lock that was delivered unfortunately had a fault but Steve was quick to address the issue and get a new one sent out, can't ask for much more really. The lock feels solid and has some weight behind it unlike others I've looked at.

When you look at other 'high quality' U locks on the market from the big named brands there all €100+. Anyone with a decent bolt cutters can come along snip it in silence and drag away your pride and joy. Great to see a U Lock that can finally not be snipped and only for €55? Steal

I have purchased three of the locks and they are perfect, well made, study and easy to use. The "130" will fit in the swing arm of a 2021 Triumph Tiger GT Pro 900, the swing arm of a Suzuki GSXR1000 and the frame/rear sub frame of a 2018 Norton Commando 961 (and the latest TVS versions). Great service as usual from these guys.

As a disabled user of a mobility scooter I needed a secure lock to match with my 16mm chain secured to a wall mounted anchor. The close shackle padlock I have been using was difficult for me to use as I have limited strength in my hands and lower arms and having to lift both ends of the chain to loop 1 link through another and then trying to fit and lock the padlock whilst fighting with the rubber flap was a nightmare.

This product has changed the situation completely. I now only need to use a single length of chain and I can easily attach this lock with the chain to a strut on the scooter. The fact that the shackle is also 16mm means there is no weak point in the system. I can highly recommend this lock to disabled users as it is much easier to handle than an equivalent padlock.

I bought the 130mm to go around the frame spar of an enduro bike then a 16mm chain down to a ground anchor as there was not enough clearance for the chain to go around the frame direct.

Absolutely brilliant, I bought two for added security for my bike.I got the smaller version which fits perfectly as a disc lock through the rear wheel of my bike,I also bought a RoundLock padlock which is also excellent for the money, it can be used as a smaller portable disc lock ( make sure it will fit your disc first) or with the chain , highly recommended.

Great bit of kit, went for the 30mm as it allows me to tether to something that I can get the bike close to whilst on my travels. Go through the wheel amp some frame too. Also can stick the business end out of my cover just to deter any tea leaves having a think it may be less than protected.

Bought DIB D-Lock with Protector 13mm chain and Shed Door Beef-up kit. Just waiting for delivery of Shed Shackle to complete the package. The products are real solid security kit and worth paying for quality for peace of mind. Placed an order for a D-Lock and an extra shackle. The extra shackle was out of stock but I was contacted promptly to let me know this and the D-Lock was dispatched immediately with the extra shackle to follow when in stock at no extra cost to me. The product itself is also excellent. Very solid feeling and the shackle has a good thick rubber coating so it doesn't scratch the bike. It locks smoothly.

Efectivamente, el acabado es de altísima calidad y la medida de 26cms es perfecta para la horquilla de la Suzuki DL650 Vstrom. Lo uso también en Honda NX 250 Dominator y va perfecto, aunque con los radios un candado de U es siempre más incómodo de poner. Muy bien empaquetados (podrían venir copas de cristal sin sufrir daño), me remitieron número de seguimiento con DPD desde UK a España y la entrega fue muy rápida. Los recomiendo sin duda.

I bought 2 D-Locks with the same keys (3 per padlock, so 6 in total). I had seen videos on line about how hard to pick up or cut they are. Definitely, they are a top quality product and the 26cms size fits perfect on the forks of the Suzuki DL 650 VStrom. I also use one on a Honda NX 250 Dominator and it fits great, although due to the spoke wheels it is always more uncomfortable to put it and out. The parcel was really well packed (they could have sent wine glasses with no damage), I had a tracking number to follow the shipment from UK to Spain and delivery as very fast. I definitely recommend the purchase.

Been using this on my rear wheel, through the sprocket and spokes, fits perfectly.

I placed my order on a Saturday, right before the Christmas holiday season, with a destination address in Germany. The locks already arrived on Thursday (and it would've been Wednesday if DPD didn't mess up the delivery) -- this is excellent. Shipping cost was still reasonable.

Ordered one afternoon recieved next day impressed with the solid build of this d lock,already have abus granit which costs more and this is better imho,going to invest in the chain so I use on garage anchor and when on road the lock is mobile,great communication from minute I ordered to delivery this is an example to others top notch.

Very impressed by the DIB D Lock. Points to note:

1. Easy attaching and removing of the shackle to the lock body. I've used a number of D locks in the past, and this is one of the smoothest to insert and remove the shackle from. No sticking and no fuss.

2. Excellent coating, to prevent damage to my bike.

3. The little switch/cover to stop the keyhole being exposed to the elements is a very welcome addition. I have had to wash out, and then WD40 and lubricate, keyholes of other D Locks which didn't have keyhole covers countless times, and the fact that the DIB D Lock has a cover for the keyhole makes having to do this far less frequent which is handy.

4. Well machined and smooth, no edges to catch on clothing. I carry the smaller one in my jacket pocket for when I'm out bicycling, and it's no problem.

5. Effective 16mm thick shackle, which is nice and strong, wider than a lot of other D Locks I have used.

6. Keyed Alike is a godsend, it means I only have to carry 1 key for the locks at home and work, for both motorcycle and bicycle.

This is beautifully made. Solid without being too weighty and very slick and easy to lock and unlock. Secure Gold accreditation- enough said
