This is the type of chain bound to discourage motorbike thieves; from the moment you pick it up you realise how solid and sturdy it is!

Using this hefty chain with Beefy Bridge ground anchor, anti-pinch pin and Squire 65 to secure my bike. Thanks to good advice from David the chain is off the deck and ain't going to be cut without making a tremendous row... All the kit was delivered vey quickly and communications were outstanding.

Great hefty chain, got d lock through spokes and a swinging arm. Now I just need something immovable to lock it to.

Bought the 1.2m noose chain along with the Dib-D Lock. Not only is the built quality excellent on this product, the shorter length is fine thanks to the noose and D-Lock, so I can still lock my bike to something while out but it's short enough to fit in my tail pack.
Overall excellent after-sale service from Steve.

Had to upgrade my security after having a couple of bikes stolen and this chain fitted the bill perfectly coupled with a RoundLock and Beefy Bridge ground anchor.
Stupidly I used another lock (not from Pragmasis) on this chain first which seized so I tried to cut the chain but gave up and cut the lock which was much easier!

I'm using the chain with the anti pinch pin, this set-up is one of the quickest to lock/un-lock for this level of security.

Just received my 1.5m length of chain and boy is this heavy! It should at least slow down any would be thieves, if not put them off all together.

I've got a few locks and chains after a lifetime biking but I thought "new bike=new chain". This makes all my other heavy duty chains look like toys. This is one big old lump of metal and I assume would put off anyone but the most intent low life.
Combined with an anti pinch pin, a torc anchor and the big squire padlock, I'm hoping that the deterrent is enough for them to go and find easier pickings.

Will be locked together with a slightly smaller Pragmasis chain (13mm). To hopefully make it really unattractive to pinch...

Can't comment on the chain really, because to me looks super sturdy and first class stuff but I'm no expert. Had it paired with RoundLock.

What I'd like to stress however is the excellent support and detailed explanations David and Steve have given me to clear out doubt and concerns about both the products.
Can't recommend Pragmasis & the Team enough! Next on the shopping list will possibly be ground anchor.

Bought the 1.2m chain to secure my mountain bike and also bought the double doofer ground anchor. The chain by itself feels incredibly secure although I hadn't appreciated just how thick 16mm really is! I'd recommend 1.2m as a minimum for this thickness of chain to allow it to wrap around the frame and through the fork crown. Twinned with the doofer this feels really secure and the service has been excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough.

bought the chain with large loop works great to add extra length and was impressed with the size and quality great service and helpful also.

I cannot recommend Pragmasis enough.
Not only is the RoundLock and chain really well made, but David is probably the best example of customer service I have ever received. Not only is he a good listener, but he fully understood an issue I had which was promptly and quickly fixed over the phone.
The product is absolutely first class and I’m glad I paid for a premium product. Its served me really well and I even bought a second lock to keep at home. I ordered the heavier one (16mm) to leave at the station and the 13mm to leave at home. Swapping them when I go on holiday so that its really secure. Thanks to the team.

Having spent a lot of time researching chains I came across the Protector range from Pragmsis. I then emailed David at Pragmasis to ask for his advice. It was evident that he had a wealth of experience in motorcycle security and I decided to to order the 16mm Protector chain and Squire SS65CS padlock. The deciding factor when purchasing the 16mm chain was that it needed to be heavy duty enough to withstand an attack with a bolt cutter. I look after a country estate that was recently burgled. I have no doubt the combination of 5 metres of 16mm chain and Squire locks threaded through the equipment handles etc will make their quest very difficult in the future....along with the other security "upgrades". I found the company staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

I live in a rented flat and have to park my V Strom on a tarmac area which is hidden from view. A ground anchor is not practical due to weak tarmac, but there is a very solid tree next to the bike. My solution was to loop your 16mm chain around the tree, well off the ground, and then lock it to the fork stanchions with a Kryptonite ML18 U lock. I hope that this will deter all but the most determined thieves, but if anything does happen it’s all sold secure gold so the insurance should cover it.

The 16mm chain (3m) is an absolute masterpiece and, whilst being huge, is still manageable and easy to use. Moreover, I’m reassured by your stellar reputation in the biking community and by the many tests that appear on YouTube. It’s amazing to think that you do two chains that are even tougher than this one, but for high value bikes they look like a sound investment.

This 2 metre chain combined with the Anti-Pinch Pin, Squire SS65CS lock and Torc Anchor now secures two BMW motorcycles. The chain goes through the welded frame of the older one and the other bike is secured by the anti-pinch pin. It is not a chain to take with you when riding out though as it weighs an enormous 9 kg.

I just recently purchased my first 16mm 1.2-m long protector chain. After some research online on both Almax and Pragmasis, the better customer service of the latter made the choice a very obvious one for me. I could not have been more satisfied with the decision. The security chain is extremely impressive in both quality and toughness, and the customer service of this company is just stellar.

For many years, I’ve used various Abus security chains, which are also very good quality. One of which is the Abus 14KS with RK 37/80 padlock (probably their strongest security chain). Comparing that to the Pragmasis, I can say that the quality control of the protector chain is even better. The welding is considerably more smooth and uniform and the round links are virtually undistorted whereas the square Abus links are a bit thinner at the curves (reduced to 13-13.5 mm), which could potentially compromise the security of the chain.

Another important point is that the Abus one uses short-links while Pragmasis has very long ones. As a result, the 14mm Abus chain is actually about 1 kg heavier than the thicker 16mm Pragmasis chain! So, you’re getting better protection at a lower weight and price with Pragmasis. To me, the optimal choice could not be more obvious. I highly recommend Pragmasis to anyone looking for a quality product and will look nowhere else myself for future security needs.

This thing is an f-ing anaconda! Frankly, the weak link in my bike's security is now the bike itself. This chain is huge and heavy and definitely not for riding around. The Squire padlock is very robust and indistructable as far as I can see. I use it when parking my bike at night. If someone wants to steal my bike now, they are going to have to work for it and wake the neighbors and me. High quality products. David and his team were great at getting my chain delivered to France. Highly resommend this chain, the Squire lock and this company.

Well, it was about time to up my security and those kind people at Almax showed me what not to buy by destroying £1000s worth of chain. After a month of reviews and YouTube videos the end result was going to be either a 16mm Almax or a 16mm Pragmasis chain. What swung it for me was the Anti Pinch Pin which would work well with my hollow axled BMW GSA LC. So, I purchased a 2 metre 16mm chain and a pair of Squire padlocks to complement the Anti Pinch Pin. Very heavy but the bike isn't going anywhere without me.

The service was spot on, Stephen & David communicated quickly and efficiently throughout.
