Worried about security of your new bike. A solid 16mm minimum hard cased chain is the most useable option to leave out at your commute end. Mark the sleeve ends to recognise any tampering. Combined with a really good lock should give you peace of mind! The anti pinch pin combination makes it easier to feed through the engine and frame. Any 16/19mm kit from this company will give you a degree of confidence that it will be where you left it? Made in England wonderfully welded, no cheap Chinese manufacturing.
Can’t praise the correspondence and delivery for my order enough. Their extremely helpful, ten out of ten. Have a data tag and an Ingersoll 10 leaver lock on the front disc. Must be too much trouble to be worth stealing. Not going to stop the rider being jacked though. They want it they take it.

Order 16mm 0.8m chain to accompany the 340mm anti-pinch pin, package was very quickly despatched and received the following day.
Bought as a security product to travel with me, yes collectively it's a tad heavy but good security products usually are.
I know I certainly won't worry with this beefy chain and pinch pin attached to my bike, rather that than some cheap thin tat.

I've recieved some great advice from Steve at Pragmasis regarding the use of chains to secure my bike to a previously bought Torc Anchor.
The 1.5m 16mm chain really does look substantial and as though it will deter any potential thieves.

I bought one of these to protect my 848 about 6 months ago. Great customer service and the product arrived the next day. I was just about able to loop the chain through the trellis frame. Really hefty feeling chain (the weight of the thing is almost enough to put your back out!) which gives me peace of mind.

What a beauty! This chain is huge and imposing, but I can still sling it over my shoulder, and ride off and lock up my pride and joy anywhere I care. I was able to order this chain over the phone which for me was a lot less hassle. Also, for a few extra pounds got it delivered before noon the next day, amazing, as it was Parcel Force! It is a heavy chain & i got the 1 metre length as i have a garage but the piece of mind it gives me it's all worth it. Nice people to do business with so if you NEED a good chain you can't go wrong with Pragmasis, just make sure if you order a decent length top of the range chain you have good biceps!

I read some reviews on websites about how these chains can be smashed by hitting with a hammer. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE!? [Pragmasis comment: That was alleged against our very first batch in 2007, only, in an unrealistic test. All chain we have produced since has been completely different! Different chain factory using different steel and with different heat treatment, so you can feel confident in all current Protector chains.] This chain is monster, chunky, heavy and intimidating. I bought the chain, pinch pin and lock, not to prevent my motorcycle being stolen, but to make sure in a rack of bikes, or to professional thieves, my bike doesn't look like the low hanging fruit. No-one in their right mind is going to bother with my bike from now on. It just doesn't look like it is worth it. In my book, visual affect is 90% of the battle and this kit does the trick.

Bought this to go with Ground Anchor, this is a seriously strong, heavy chain. With this product you will know that you've done all you can to protect your bike, caravan etc., Watch the videos, talk to Steve buy the product.

Bought this last week with pin and lock: all arrived quickly, great support on phone, chain looks excellent and now locked into new ground anchor and pin.

An incredibly heavy chain, the 1.5M I ordered is a struggle to heft around but that's the inevitable trade-off. I wouldn't carry it to work every day but I can put it in a pannier for times when I'm visiting people and leaving my bike overnight on a city street. It feels as indestructible as it provably is - you wouldn't get through this with anything less than an angle grinder and a lot of patience (so don't lose your keys!)

It combines nicely with an Abloy 362 (which I also strongly recommend) to make a real impression.

The 1.5M length easily fits through my back wheel and frame and closes over the seat (favoured non-fixed method) or through the swingarm and shocks and around a lamppost (fixed method) on my CBR. It won't easily go through the wheel AND the frame AND around a stationary object, however, so consider getting the 2M if you're planning on doing this (or if you have a really wide bike, like a chopper, that you can't get very close to the anchoring object).

If you're thinking of using these day-to-day, find something of comparable weight to get an idea first, because they really do weigh a ton - but equally, if you're leaving your bike on the street, don't settle for anything smaller, it'll just get cropped eventually. This is the ultimate peace-of-mind solution.

It's a big chain - a very heavy, solid, tough chain which gives me great confidence that my bike will still be in the garage in the morning.

I bought this chain in 1.2m length along with the untouchable lock for my road bike secured to a ground anchor. It's a perfect length with none of the chain left on the floor. It might be slightly overkill for a bike, but when you've spent thousands - I would rather sleep easy at night knowing this is on it rather than a standard old d-lock from a bicycle shop. (that can be got through in minutes!) It's really heavy (I can't imagine what the 19mm is like!) and well made. I really can't see anyone getting through this in a hurry! I was on the fence between this one and the 19mm but opted for this one.
I'm very glad I did, it's very substantial on it's own and has the added bonus that it allows in-link locking, as well as some more mainstream padlocks.

This is the best chain I have come across and it has a good protector sleeve, unlike others. It’s good and heavy and will put off any want to be thief, even if they weren’t put off they’re not getting very far with this chain… I have lost track of how many chains I have now purchased, I have secured various quad bikes, motor bikes, a Landrover, a buggy and even a vintage tractor to name a few items….

I bought this chain, when searching for a better chain and lock earlier on this year, as more of a deterrent because people keep trying to take my bike, it happens alot police been out at least 3 times by me and once or twice by neighbours, I don't call them now because they told me last time they couldn't keep responding if I kept it up at that rate. I already have an alarm (Hawk X-50), two "smaller" (one Oxford and a Master)chains and two disc locks on the bike but still they try.

The chain it arrived really fast, it has to be said it is well built, large linked and very heavy. So bear this in mind if going to transport it. Personally for me that's its not an issue.

This chain is unreal, its stopped my bike from being stolen on a few occasions, once I even witnessed and my neighbours have seen more than a few (its kind of a running joke now). The thief's around here are not that bright, they come every week on different days but still every week, they've hit it with an hammer, hit the lock too barely left a mark on the chain, locks a tad marked but still solid as hell, they but don't seem to have tried anything else (cutters, grinders or oxy bottles etc), was wanting to see what they would try next but after that one night, now they've given up been care free for a good few months now.

I really do recommend these chains and locks, for any biker, they are awesome, I bought a 1.5m 16mm and the indestructible pad lock. Thank you :-).

I went for this chain after realising that the 19mm would be just too big and heavy and whilst the 16mm is also rather and bulky it is bolt cutter proof unlike the thinner chains hence why I went for it. Ultimately the security of this chain and squire locks with ground anchor pleases the insurance company. It is a great chain with a very sturdy sleeve. I bought a much larger chain than required and used a 10" angle grinder to make to shorter chains and a ground anchor out of it to save some cash. Took me about 8 mins to cut through but then again it created a hell of a racket and tons of sparks ! My advice is the same buy more chain than needed use a longer section at home with three links for a cheap anchor and use a shorter section enough to loop around a wheel and tyre to keep the weight down when out and about as a quick security device.

Although there is enough room for the 19mm chain, because of the space between shackle and padlock (I used Abloy 352 padlock), I went for 16mm instead.

It's really thick, heavy and impressive. Couldn't be better.
