Security Videos - Torc Ground Anchor Injection Resin Fitting Sequence from Pragmasis

Home > Security Product Videos > ...Torc Ground Anchor Injection Resin Fitting Sequence

Video showing how to install the (Series II) Torc ground anchor in various situations using an injection resin cartridge:

(Some situations might require resin sleeves (available to order) to constrain the resin if there are extensive voids involved, such as with hollow concrete blocks.)

It is good practice, after leaving the resin to set overnight, to give the anchor a good tug by hand just in case there were unseen cracks etc in the concrete and the resin has had a chance to leak away before hardening. Problems like this are very unusual in good concrete, but it is good to check.

This video shows the Series II Torc anchor. The Series III is very similar, but it adds special hammer-in hardened steel plugs to give even more protection to the fixings. The updated fitting instructions explain the process in detail.
