Well it may not actually be indestructible but unless you are carrying a small workshop with you and have plenty of time, I suspect this is as good as. I have a 2m length coupled with a Squires 50CS padlock and a ground anchor and use it to secure a number of bikes in the garage. Service was great and they matched the keys to an existing Squire lock I had to make life easier. Recommended.

Really pleased. Using this to lock my 2 eBikes to our Motor home. It is also just about manageable to takeout shopping etc (they are e-bikes after all:-) It is quite heavy but you can't have it all ways.

I purchased the 2m 13mm chain with noose ending. The noose ending is very convenient, and greatly increases the versatility of the chain. I am using it to secure two bicycles, attached at one end to a wall mounted anchor, and using the Squire SS50CS lock at the other end.

The chain seems VERY robust. To be honest, the weakest link by far is my anchor, so I don't think any thief would bother with this chain. They would almost definitely damage the bicycles beyond sale-ability if they did. I also loop the chain around the wheel + main triangles so that, even if they remove the anchor they would still have great inconvenience moving the bikes.

Obviously I cannot accurately attest to the full security of this device, because no one has tried breaking it yet!

I would emphasize an obvious piece of advice - make sure all the various links in your security system are well-matched, otherwise you may be wasting your money on the top chain. e.g. consider the 11mm chain for added portability.

Bought this lock in 2-metre flavour with a noose end to slow down any scum who take a fancy to my mountain bikes.

I have it through am Oxford ground anchor on the wall, then through 3 bikes.

Seems very well made and the red cover is really nice quality.

Can't comment on how easy it is to break and hopefully I never will, but it's certainly a deterrent I'd say.

I ordered this chain on Tuesday, and it arrived on Thursday at my address in Belgium.

I don't think I've ever ordered anything in the UK that shipped faster than that.

The chain itself is nice and heavy, and the welds are really nice! Even though the site states that the noose is handmade and may look a bit different, I couldn't tell the difference and it's all top notch.

This chain is sure to scare the buggers away!

Very good quality craftsmanship, nice welding and protector sleeve.Easy to use Squire lock.
Was amazed at the weight, had to spend some time to find "holes" in the motorcycle frame to be able to fit. Ended up fitting trough swing arm on one of the motorcycles and around the rear shock on the other, than routed town to ground anchor. I cannot imagine how people can handle the 16-22mm chains? This one 13mm seems strong enough to deter any thief. Although I have alarmed garage.

Has protected my bike for years and I have confidence in it. Have bought 3 through the years, this is the only brand i trust.

Bought this chain in a package deal with the Torc ground anchor. Great bit of kit. The kind of stuff you can imagine a thief looks at and just walks away. 5 stars and worth every penny.

Though there are even sturdier models, the 13 mm one I got is already very good for my electric bike in combination with my DIB D-Locks. The chain is heavy. I have an expensive E-Bike which I use for couriering, so I have to constantly be locking it up. I found that a D-Lock isn't ideal, because somewhat often a place I'm delivering to or picking up from doesn't have a bike rack or suitable pole to lock to nearby.
Rather than either the very risky prospect of just immobilising the wheels, or having to waste time searching the nearby area, the 1.2m noose chain I bought opens up a much wider choice of things to lock to that a D lock either can't reach to or fit around.
I'm sure when I go on recreational trips with family and friends, the chain will also be used to secure multiple bikes at once.

The only downside I can see of this chain is the weight. (whilst I don't mind carrying it given I'm on an E-bike, I would were I not, and you have to be mindful when locking up to not bash anything), but, that's simply how physical security works, so I can't really take any points off for that. The longer link design would seem to save weight compared to the shorter links of mainstream competitors as well.

I purchased this lock together with an Abloy PL350 to function as a very solid secondary bicycle lock for my bike, which is kept in a Cyclehoop bike hangar in inner London. My primary lock is a Kryptonite NY M18 DLock, around the seat tube, rear wheel and crank and the protector chain complements this perfectly around the front wheel and down tube, so both locks can fit to a secure object. I think a d-lock and chain work well as a set up to mix up the two lock styles.

I do not think of this as a ‘portable security’ option, it is still very heavy so is part of a heavy duty ‘home security’ up. In the very rare occasions where I would lock up my bike whilst out and about I would choose to take my Dib series d-lock.

The manufacturing quality on the chain is clearly very high and Pragmasis’ customer service is always excellent. I sense that they take a good deal of pride in their products

I use them for additional security at home and as a carry chain for portability.
A good balance between protection and weight.

Got the 1.5m 13mm and it feels solid and secure, especially in combination with the round lock. Reasonable compromise between weight and portability. Feels much more secure than similar priced items from competitors.

This is the second time I've ordered a 13mm chain and SS50CS padlock. I've had the same set up protecting my mountain bikes for the last couple of years, with a lot of reassurance provided by them. A new bike meant some additional security was required.

The service from Pragmasis has been exceptional. I asked for a 'keyed alike' lock to save confusion. David kept me up to date throughout the ordering process, explaining timescales, etc. The chain and lock arrived quicker than expected but an early email notification meant I could ensure someone was home to accept the delivery.

Having just retired we decided to purchase 2 new Electric Bikes. These will be kept in an outbuilding on our property. We purchased a 13mm protector chain which is fastened with an anchor to a brick wall, the other end connected to a good quality Abus D lock. The chain is top quality with a sturdy sleeve. It would probably be too heavy to carry on a bike but as it is a permanent fixture weight doesn't matter. Although the chain is fairly expensive (as are the Abus D locks)in security you only get what you pay for. Cheap products are a false economy. Very satisfied customer.

I was after a chain and padlock to secure my motorcycle to an Oxford Rota Force ground anchor. Unfortunately the loop in that anchor won't accept a 16mm chain so I opted for the 13mm chain. The added advantage of this is that is fits through the hole in the rear axle,of my R1200GS. I feel this is a better option than threading through the frame as well. I bought a package with the Squire padlock as well - and a great padlock it is. I wish I had checked this company out beforehand then Inwoikd also have bought their Torc ground anchor - bugger! I purchased a 2m chain and would definitely recommend getting a slightly longer chain than you think you need to give more flexibility. The service from Pragmasis was fantastic - personal emails to advise of despatch and ordering. I didn't call them, but I am sure they would offer the right advice to ensure you choose the right solution for your needs.

Just finished securing my two bicycles with the 13mm protector chain. Its massive. A 1,5m chain was enough to lock the bikes to a ground anchor. I thought of the 16mm version, but that might have been to heavy for the bicycles (something to consider - spokes and carbon fibre parts).

I bought 2 meters of this and use an Abloy 626 padlock, although a bit heavy to carry around I find it only a slight inconvenience compared to losing my pride and joy, this setup will stop all but the most well equipped determined theif. Excellent, speedy service too!

Its just as described in the video and supplied by a very helpful company which delivered it very promptly. I just hope it never has to be tested but expect it to stand up to most assaults. All round good value.

I purchased the 13mm chain and Roundlock package deal to protect my bicycles in the garage. I received excellent advice on the appropriate size to go for, and once i'd placed the order I had it in my hands well within 24hrs so the service was absolutely spot on. The chain itself is a beast, looks and feels incredibly secure when used in conjunction with a wall anchor, and i'm sleeping much better since installing it. I'd say someone is going to have to make an almighty effort to defeat this. Recommended!!

This is an excellent heavy duty chain and lock. I feel confident that it will protect my bike. At the very worst, it will slow down any thief.

Now got 4 metres of this bad boy holding onto the ever growing cycle fleet as a secondary level of security. If the scumbags manage to get through this after level 1 security, I will give them the bikes myself!

This is my second pragmasis chain. The very heavy one (22mm) stays on the lamppost to which I tie my mike every night and this one (13mm) goes in my topcase for when I park the bike in the street.

The 13mm chain 1,2m length is light enough to be carried in a pannier.
Except for the 13mm chain I also got the 16mm and two keyed alike D-locks. Various ways to use the D-locks, I think they provide more flexibility than padlocks.
Note that 16mm is quite heavy - to be used only for home parking.
