The chain looks amasing. The diam 16 mm and length 2m has weight ca. 11 kg. [Pragmasis Comment: It's actually about 9kg, at 4.5kg per metre.]
I am very satisfied with the customer service and fast delivery to the EU.

The chain was delivered in less than 24hrs and it exceeds my expectations. I bought it with a Squire Padlock which I couldn't fathom how to attach and make secure....one email requesting advice and a link to a video sorted out the problem the same day. Feel like my quad has bike is as secure as I can make it now.:)

I originally bought this (1.5m) chain for a Bicycle, but it is TOO BIG and cumbersome to bring everywhere, and very conspicuous looking because of its size. I have also heard that it doesn't go through the spokes very well.

I would recommend the 16mm chain for an expensive motorbike or a very expensive bicycle at home with a ground anchor. I am confident that the 16mm chain will also hold the Loch Ness Monster or King Kong should you ever need to do that.

For a bicycle I suggest the 13mm chain, much easier to handle and lighter overall. The nice folks at Mahon Engineering sorted me out with a 13mm replacement instead of the big 16mm.

Bought a couple of 3m lengths with SS65CS locks to secure collection of bikes in the shed. Mind put at rest with these securing my collection. Quick helpful and efficient service to boot!

Went shopping and bought a 16mm Chain + Anti-pinch pin + Squire padlock + Ground anchor Torc and I'm impressed with the quality of all products including the fitting instructions, etc. I've spent around 300GBP for everything.. yes it doesn't "look" cheap but neither the motorbike I'm riding so spending 1.5% of the value of the bike in security is not that expensive. Great communication and support from the owners. Special Obrigado to David.

Make no mistake this chain is a beast. It is going to take some considerable effort to get through this baby...
Yes there are cheaper chains out there but if you take security seriously you are going to have to spend some money. Make sure your anchor and padlock are of a similar standard.
I initially purchased 1m length but returned and exchanged for 2m no problems.

Yes these chains are always going to be the part that they are not going to attack as they are very well made and are heavy another indicator of quality.
Would recommend as part of your setup to secure your bike but bear in mind this is the strongest part.
And like the site advises you your setup is only as good as the weakest link.

Have set this up on my motorcycle. Wouldn't want to test it, for obvious reasons, but it feels heavy, & the sleeve is very strong. I doubt it will ever see any attack, as it's more than sufficient as a deterrant.

This chain is heavy. As such it really inspired confidence and is ideal for "at home" use. Really too heavy for mobile use with a pedal cycle. But at home it provides excellent protection. Recommended.

Ordered the 16mm 1.2M chain for use when out and about. Chunky enough to keep thieves at bay but also manageable in weight and size.

I wanted to up my security after an attempted theft on my bike and I decided to try this chain after watching a YouTube video of someone trying to bolt cut them (didn't go well).

Even after doing some research, I was surprised at how beastly this chain is. The sheer size of it will hopefully deter any future scumbags. If not, I'm confident they won't get through it without loud power tools and so waking me up.

To top off the quality of the chain, the service provided was excellent with many choices for length of chain and an optional noose ring.

Overall great product, excellent selection and rapid shipping! No complaints at all.

Bought the 16mm chain to secure motorbike, really happy with my purchase and would definitely buy again.

I live in a rented flat and have to park my V Strom on a tarmac area which is hidden from view. A ground anchor is not practical due to weak tarmac, but there is a very solid tree next to the bike. My solution was to loop your 16mm chain around the tree, well off the ground, and then lock it to the fork stanchions with a Kryptonite ML18 U lock. I hope that this will deter all but the most determined thieves, but if anything does happen it’s all sold secure gold so the insurance should cover it.

The 16mm chain (3m) is an absolute masterpiece and, whilst being huge, is still manageable and easy to use. Moreover, I’m reassured by your stellar reputation in the biking community and by the many tests that appear on YouTube. It’s amazing to think that you do two chains that are even tougher than this one, but for high value bikes they look like a sound investment.

I just recently purchased my first 16mm 1.2-m long protector chain. After some research online on both Almax and Pragmasis, the better customer service of the latter made the choice a very obvious one for me. I could not have been more satisfied with the decision. The security chain is extremely impressive in both quality and toughness, and the customer service of this company is just stellar.

For many years, I’ve used various Abus security chains, which are also very good quality. One of which is the Abus 14KS with RK 37/80 padlock (probably their strongest security chain). Comparing that to the Pragmasis, I can say that the quality control of the protector chain is even better. The welding is considerably more smooth and uniform and the round links are virtually undistorted whereas the square Abus links are a bit thinner at the curves (reduced to 13-13.5 mm), which could potentially compromise the security of the chain.

Another important point is that the Abus one uses short-links while Pragmasis has very long ones. As a result, the 14mm Abus chain is actually about 1 kg heavier than the thicker 16mm Pragmasis chain! So, you’re getting better protection at a lower weight and price with Pragmasis. To me, the optimal choice could not be more obvious. I highly recommend Pragmasis to anyone looking for a quality product and will look nowhere else myself for future security needs.

This 2 metre chain combined with the Anti-Pinch Pin, Squire SS65CS lock and Torc Anchor now secures two BMW motorcycles. The chain goes through the welded frame of the older one and the other bike is secured by the anti-pinch pin. It is not a chain to take with you when riding out though as it weighs an enormous 9 kg.

After having difficulty with the other security chain supplier and being arrogantly let down, I was in a panic and contacted David here at Pragmasis who went out of his way to help, he sent the chains out immediately and I had them the next day! I bought one of those 16mm chain and I am very impressed by the quality of it.
I have bought it to lock my Vespa at night in the street in front of my flat in London [I am locking it to a light pole] and I can say it is a great deterrent for thieves mainly due to the size of it [looks very bulky and heavy and is literally twice the size of any other chain]. I already had one Vespa stolen and I did quite a lot of research to find the very best chain. I am definitely happy with my choice.
A bit heavy to carry around, but I am doing it anyway, worth the peace of mind.

The sales response was excellent. We coordinated the delivery to Australia to coincide with my personal needs (I was away from home for a time). The product is rock solid and works very well with the Torc ground anchor. I recommend the company and its products unconditionally.
