1.5M x 16mm Chain with RoundLock. This chain is HEAVY. On looks alone it is bound to be a huge deterrent. Brilliant customer service - kept me updated from the minute I placed my order online through to despatch.

A recent burglary made me rethink security and, after a Torc ground anchor was given to me as a gift (also brilliant by the way,) I invested in two 16mm chains and Roundlocks. Superbly finished - who knew chains could be attractive! - with neat finishing covers attached securely. The round locks have a deep polished finish and smooth locking action with quality keys. I can pass the 16mm chain through the frame on my KTM 990 to give an immovable link with the ground. My other bike, a Trophy 1215, has fewer secure body parts accessible but 2m of 16mm will wrap through the swing arm rear wheel and shaft drive support (just!) with no trailing chain on the floor. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of these products, their success in various publications and tests in entirely justified. Add in excellent customer service from the team, extremely prompt delivery (1 day in my experience,) and tracked DPD next day I couldn't be happier. Thank you - sincerely!

Having lost two bikes to angle grinder equipped thieves, I was looking for something VERY secure. I went for the 16mm chain plus Roundlock, and also two D-locks. All came keyed-alike, with great service. Based on the experience so far, I'd give this top recommendation.

Amazing chain and easy to use roundlock (bought 2 of the locks, so one can be a disc lock) Paid the extra £4 for same key access to both locks. This is a serious bit of kit. With hindsight perhaps I should have bought a longer chain. The 1.0m is ample but I won't be able to attach it to a lamppost or similar. That said, it does exactly what I wanted, but with extra bells and whistles. Supoerb service from the team and next day delivery from DPD. 10 out of 10

This, is a seriously hefty piece of kit. Coupled with the Beefy bridge ground anchor, I don't think my motorcycle has ever felt this secure. There are heavier duty options available, but the 16mm chain package was much more within my budget and it's more than sufficient for my needs. It might seem pricey, but when you see the chain, you realise that this might be the last motorcycle chain you ever need to buy. A worthy investment I think. I did find that the 2m chain with a noose also links my Bandit's back wheel to the exhaust downpipes for a fairly decent deterrent on a long city break away. Not that I'll be in the habit of hauling that chain round often!

I've purchased the 16mm chain 4m, noose end, roundlock. I've attached it to a concrete pillar (2m of perimeter) and to my back tyre. I used the figure 8 configuration. One single roundlock was enough for it.

The chain is absolutely heavy! It came in a small box although weighting about 20kg!

That's definitely a chain that would hold strong enough with bolt cutter attacks. I leave it in an underground car park, so it should be fine with grinder attacks, as they would be really noisy.

The price was really good compared to competitors and cost benefit. The delivery worked really fast.

Getting a new bike, had stopped using the ground anchor and old chain once the last new bike was no longer new (rural location, low risk for bike theft). New bike ordered, at which point I realise I've lost the keys for the current padlock, which is locked to the chain but thankfully not in a closed loop. Considered how to break it, given workshop, time and mains power - and soon realised it would be a long tough job. And that realisation meant buy another one, because your pride and joy's security requires exactly that level of deterrent.

For me the minimum security requirement for a motorcycle chain/lock was proof against bolt cropper attack but also be reasonably portable.

I chose the 2 metre, 16mm chain with an enlarged end loop and oversized roundlock as it gave me sufficient flexibility to easily secure and anchor the bike in a variety of situations.

Even so, I'd worried about the weight and how to carry it all safely and conveniently but again the guys at Pragmasis came up trumps by recommending the smaller Kriega tailpacks which, though expensive, has proven an excellent solution. I bought the 20 litre option which has plenty of room to spare for other items too.

Great customer service seems to come as standard.

NB: The larger roundlock size was chosen as it can be used with a 19mm chain which I have at home.

I bought a short 80cm length to secure together a pressure washer, generator and mixer together. Perfect, chain being very short and tight keeps the items together so impossible to easily move the 3 items due to weight and wheel directions.

The chain is a good combination of weight and heft and I feel a sensible price point in terms of the asset value being secured.

This is the biggest chain I could fit through the frame of my bike. Used with Torc ground anchor I concluded it was the most secure solution I could find. Round lock also doubles as a disk lock when out and about on bike. Third purchase from Pragmasis and never had anyone try and pinch a bike protected by their kit.

I bought this lock for my sons first motorbike. we live in the middle of a city and i was concerned that this would make his 125 a target. im so glad i have bought this for him he says it is over kill but is very impressed with the lock design. i have pointed out that when he passes his A2 and gets a bigger machine he will not have to replace his security. Thank you for making such a well design piece of kit and as a former engineering technician myself i really appreciate the quality.

Bought the 16mm Chain and roundlock. Very well made and a clever padlock lock. Looks beefy so a good visual deterrent. Good chain cover as well. Can't fault the service from Pragmasis.

Very sturdy combination. At £150 it is considerably cheaper than the increase to my insurance were I to make a claim. Also I ordered on Thursday night and received Saturday morning - pretty impressive.

I have a Vespa Primavera and commute into London daily. This chain and lock had excellent reviews elsewhere and I agree. It’s tough, easy to use and fits through the rear wheel nicely. The weight is reassuring and I ride with it under the seat without issue.
The long links mean I can lock it with a degree of Length adjustment which is useful. Service, packing and delivery were excellent. Thanks.

I purchased this chain because the ground anchor that I have doesnt allow anything bigger than a 16mm chain. I was a bit dubious with the lock design but I am so glad I chose the round lock, it's so secure and sturdy and very well made. The whole package is perfect and for the price it's definitely on my list as a 2nd purchase but this time for a transportable chain and lock!

I had been considering the 19mm chain, but talked myself out of it due to mobility. Quite glad I did now. My old chain looks like a wet noodle beside this monster. Mainly for use at home or in the city, but not going anywhere once locked.

Your delivery driver will hate you for ordering one of these. It's very heavy.
Also a bit of a struggle to feed it through my ground anchor (it only just fits, the 19mm would have had no chance of going through, so bear that in mind).
Once in place though, I have absolutely no worries about my bike going walkabouts.
Communication from Pragmasis was good, and delivery was nice and quick.
