The chain looks like it will hold in place a battleship, let alone a bicycle! The lock is also great quality so I have a piece of mind the bike stays where it should. David was really helpful in answering all my questions and guiding me to the right product, so 5 stars for the service as well.

Awesome chain, made double handy by the noose option. Fits through the frame of a 2016 Aprilia Tuono factory - thieves will have to destroy the bike and sweep up the pieces because not in a thousand years is this getting cut without industrial power tools. YouTube has great demo videos. Very happy customer - thank you very much indeed!

Second chain fitted through the wheels to another anchor. Someone decided to cut the frame of my KTM to relieve me of it. Chain and anchor intact! So a little more deterrent for the new bike.

Extremely pleased with this security package for my brand new Vespa GTS300 Super Sport. Living in Central London the chances of scooter theft are ridiculously high particularly on this model. There have already been a few attempted axel grinder and ride away thefts on other motorcycles right under my apartment, even with a 24 hour security presence and I have no doubt mine will now be a target. Only the highest security will do and after a lot of searching this package came up trumps and is definitely worth the money. The Anti-pinch pin (standard, 250mm length) fits very snugly through the rear wheel between the rim and brake disc and is just the right size to thread through the chain ends either side of the wheel and add the squire lock with ease. I tried the heat shrink protective sleeve but that adds a few mm and it wouldn’t pass through. The 16mm chain is very hefty and looks far stronger than anything else I have seen. The pin is surprisingly big and weighty and the padlock has a look of don't even bother.

Note the chain is bulky and heavy. I have traveled with it in the under seat compartment (which at 1.5m with the lock and pin takes up at least half the space) but for daily use away from home it is probably too large and could easily damage the bodywork without extra care being taken. I will mainly be using mine for at home attached to a ground anchor. I have found the anti-pinch pin and squire lock can be used standalone as a rear wheel lock on this model of Vespa, which is a more portable option.

Customer service was excellent and extremely helpful. All my queries were answered in detail. I bought before the Vespa arrived so had a lot of questions. I would highly recommend these guys.

This is my third purchase from Pragmasis. These chain far far exceed anything from mainstream vendors.

I have these securing my motorcycle at work and in the office (19mm/Squire/Pinch Pin).

I needed something for my mountain bikes to use in conjunction with the Torc Ground Anchor and decided to try the 2.5m noose since the chain needs to loop through the anchor but also go through 3 bike frames.

I always find David to be prompt and the service to be second to none. The products are of the highest quality and will last for many years. Compared to the cost of bike insurance, alarms and cheaper locks I think these chains are a good deal as they are a one-off purchase. I was quoted £350 a year to insure just one of my bicycles! I would rather spend the money on this chain.

I really cannot fault these chains apart from the weight but that is the point I guess.

As a suggestion maybe some kind of loyalty bonus for next time :-). Still eyeing up that 22mm!

Well, it was about time to up my security and those kind people at Almax showed me what not to buy by destroying £1000s worth of chain. After a month of reviews and YouTube videos the end result was going to be either a 16mm Almax or a 16mm Pragmasis chain. What swung it for me was the Anti Pinch Pin which would work well with my hollow axled BMW GSA LC. So, I purchased a 2 metre 16mm chain and a pair of Squire padlocks to complement the Anti Pinch Pin. Very heavy but the bike isn't going anywhere without me.

The service was spot on, Stephen & David communicated quickly and efficiently throughout.

Like many, i researched top quality chains and it was Pragmasis 16mm chain that came out on top, along with ss65cs lock, this believe or not was to lock up my sons 1983 twist and go 50cc!! chain worth more than the bike, but knew he would be getting a 125cc later.

I have put in 2 ground anchors for his newer bike 1.5mtr to go round swingarm and 1.0mtr for back wheel and carrying about. i will try to upload some pics for others to consider.

All in all great products and communication with David.

Purchased one of the 1.5mtr 16mm chains with squire ss65 padlock, and a 340mm anti pinch pin and large washer, arrived the very next day, with excellent comms with tracking number.
Omg that lot is heavy, with the Torc ground anchor I had previously purchased, I don't think I have much to worry about now. If it's any use to someone, the 1.5m chain and 340mm pin is ideal to go into the frame of a 1290 Superduke R in thar triangle of frame right where the rear cylinder head is, fits lovely.
If you are debating purchasing one of these from this company, just do it, small price to pay for piece of mind.

Very heavy duty chain and lock, excellent service by company. I read many reviews and bought this after watching bolt cropping videos. Only downside it's not a recognised chain when getting bike insurance on comparison websites. The almax was though. Hence 4 stars.

Insurance companies should rely on these live searches as the snapshot of approved products they've taken in the past get out of date very quickly, and that leads to a grey area for everyone. Improvements are long overdue on their side but that is underway, at last!

All my bike security anxieties solved at a stroke. My bike is a 1980 Kawasaki Z400, so I do not expect the professionals to be interested, but the joyriders and opportunist brigade are a constant threat as I have no covered storage apart from a tarpaulin. I use a tree as an anchor point. Thanks for a very efficient service and fascinating information on the website.

No need to even consider other chains. These are the best and the level of service you'll receive is exemplary. Besides the website being very informative I had a few queries which I sent over the weekend, no problem got a personal with a few days. Product came when they said and the quality is fantastic. If you are buying more than one lock I'd highly recommend the 'keyed alike' option to safe fumbling around and a heavy keyring. Product is fair superior to what I've seen and I've done some serious research. It's well worth spending 10-15% of your pride and enjoy's value on security and these chains, pinch pin etc really give you peace of mind. I bought the 16mm chain and no way can you crop that.

I bought the 2m variant - very good product, feels unbreakable. The lock unfortunately stopped working after 1 month possibly due to debris going inside. The customer service team replaced the lock immediately.

I was going to buy the 13mm protector chain but decided on the 16mm after reading the product write ups. Ordered and delivered within 24 hrs.

Very pleased with my purchase. The thickness of the links and lock shackle should make a decent and visible deterent and will give me peace of mind. Especially when coupled with a ground anchor for extra security.

The tips on how to use the chain are well worth viewing and David's email gave the purchasing process a personal touch.

All in all, a great product with excellent service.
