I was looking for a suitable product to keep my newly purchased Vespa GTS Super safe and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. I keep the bike locked on the street overnight so wanted to be assured that I had done everything I could to ensure that it is still there in the morning.

On the advice of David from Pragmasis I use the chain and padlock in conjunction with their Anti Pinch Pin which goes through the back wheel. For anyone else with the same bike the Anti Pinch Pin is a tight fit and the end protector cap needs to be popped off for it to fit between the brake disc and the rim.

The chain and padlock are just as impressive as the customer service received, excellent on all fronts. I would definitely recommend the Protector chain and Squire lock along with the pinch pin.

Many thanks for the very quick supply of my 16mm chain & Stronghold padlock. They perfectly supplement the Torc ground anchor which I purchased earlier. If appearance is anything to go by, they are going to serve me well.

I'll try and keep this short - I was about to leave for a tour when I discovered I was due to stay in a seriously dodgy area. My existing locks were simply not up to the job, so I emailed Pragmasis - at around 11pm at night, asking if there was any way they could ship me a 16mm chain and Squire SS65cs lock the next day. I received an email within minutes (bearing in mind this is at night!) confirming it was perfectly possible, and everything was sorted within minutes. The product - Absolutely outstanding. Too big to crop, a serious piece of kit. Yes, it's heavy, but not noticeably. I went for a 2 metre chain, which allowed me to use it for a selection of bikes. I also went for an Anti Pinch Pin, to allow extra flexibility.

This is a serious chain, for serious use, and it is a real 'buy it for life' item. Don't bother buying something cheap, thinking you are being clever saving money - you aren't. I'm tight as anything, and even I realised I simply had to buy this.

Go on, do it. For your bikes sake, and your own.

I'm new to whole motorbike scene. After riding a scooter a couple of times, I got my CBT certificate and happened to buy one of the most stolen bikes in the UK. Initially I ordered a main stream german chain but when it arrived I wasn't quite convinced. Whilst reading comments from unhappy customers, someone mentioned Pragmasis. After reading all the details information and watching the videos I was completely confident that this is the chain and lock I need. Returned the old chain yesterday and placed my order. Customer service is exceptional. David was swift to let me know that the items I ordered are in stock and will be given to the courier next day as I missed the dispatch time. I arranged for it to be delivered through a friend travelling from UK. Fast order processing, good packaging and quick delivery. The 1.5m chain and squire lock combo now gives me the peace of mind I was looking for. If this will not deter potential thieves then I give up :-).

This is a serious quality chain and lock, like nothing else i've seen in regular bike shops. It's absolutely top quality and after having someone break into the garage, i can now sleep at night. Though it's quite a lot for a chain - it's not much more than some of the monster chains but is so much more robust -so good value, i reckon it will last for years. The lock alone has a 10 year guarantee. Great product.

Good service & prompt delivery. You get what you pay for with this chain, very heavy duty. For those of us who haven't got a garage to lock the bike in I would highly recommend this package. Makes a lot of other 'security' chains look a bit second rate.

The 16mm Chain offers best Security for reasonable money! It's big and heavy and makes me sleep well, knowing that thieves will hardly be able to steal my bike. I was even able to fit the chain through the frame of my Tiger 800 - perfect! The shiping to Austria was withing a couple of days and the support and information from David were great! I think that this product offers a huge deterrent to motorbike thieves. I'm 33 and I think this set will outlast me.

The chain is quite heavy however this is needed especially at the places in Central London I park my motorbike.
