Good disc lock for a number of reasons: Fits in my pocket which gives me no reason not to take with me and actually use the lock, thick pin which is hard to gain access to for disc cutters, fits the Pragmasis chains for double use.
Looks the business to deter opportunist thieves.

Bought this lock after seeing a review on youtube from Bennets. Great product, feels very solid, and compact enough to push into my pocket. Looks like it would take some getting off.

Bought this after watching bennetts review that this could be used as a standalone disk lock for any motorbike, it was a lie, it may have fitted that old wheel in the video but it will not fit the modern disks on my yzf r1, i have emailed pragmasis about this but have had no response to date and i expect that i have been sold a lie and had my money stolen based on this lie.

I'm sorry you got the impression that the RoundLock will fit any motorbike disk. It doesn't. Bennetts do not actually say it will fit any bike and neither do we. Indeed, we say you should:
"Check that you have a suitable opening that will take the 21mm diameter shackle in your brake disc or disc carrier."

You e-mailed us at 6:53pm on 19-Apr-20 and we replied at 10:21am the following morning. We said "There is no problem with you posting it back for a refund." and we stand by that. Can't beat this product for the price. |The portability especially makes it a winner. The actual pin is quite thick so you will need a sizable aperture in your disk to allow it to fit. Check before you buy.

Like the heading, it’s sturdy and fits well.
Fingers crossed I’ll never have to find out regarding endurance against attack but great little lock as part of your security.

Really nicely made lock, and it operates very smoothly which I always think is a sign of quality. Unlike "dale" with the 1-star review, I actually checked that this would fit my bike first.. I mean, why wouldn't you? I assume he's the sort of person that answers Amazon questions with "sorry, don't know"...

I'm using it as a disk lock to replace my venerable Squire ML2L (which back in the day was also considered a good lock). The squire's narrow shackle is awkward to fit to my current bike, but the roundlock slots straight between disk and carrier, and is much easier to use, and more compact to carry. There's also room to thread it through a 'telltale' cable (typically hooked to the clutch lever as a reminder) if required.

I also like the flexibility of being able to use it with a chain in the future if I need to.

I have one suggestion, it might be nice if you could source some kind of carry/storage pouch (the squire has a tough cordura style one). I think this would be really handy to have - especially if using this as just a disk lock rather than with a chain. If I find one that works I'll let you know.

A carry pouch is an interesting idea. You're the first to suggest that for the RoundLock. I kind of thought it was compact enough to fit in a pocket pretty well as-is and that might be better than having a separate pouch that you also need to carry. It's an interesting idea, though, and we would be grateful if you find anything suitable?
Incidentally, yes, the old ML2L was a pretty good lock. Squire stopped making it when they realised they were actually losing money on every one!

Very high quality lock at a great price. I use it as a front disc lock when out and about. Short of a thief angle-grinding through your front disc, this cannot be removed by force. Fast delivery, and great comms.

For something so small I can not see how you would defeat this lock, it's tough, solid and awkward to even try and attack.

Great Lock!, because of the ball bearings and such if you leave this lock outside a lot it does need some oiling, but this lock is fantastic. An example of true engineering, doing a lot with a little.

This lock is fantastic. So easy to use and super solid. If anyone tried to cut it, it would just soon in the chain. Many thanks to David for helping me select exactly what I needed to secure my motorcycle. One key fits 2 round locks and a D lock. That makes life much easier. Highly recommended.

It just feels quality from the get go, intend to use as a disc lock for weekend trips and will get a chain for the winter. This lock fits the bill for both ,and as the man from Bennets said its very very difficult to get past it .. Perfect .!

Chose this disc lock after viewing a bennetts presentation,no alarm on it,but the principal of it along with the size of the bolt that goes through the disc hopefully will be enough deterant to an oportunist thief,the service was fantastic,kept well informed,arrived on time,keep up the valuable customer service,hopefully be a customer in the future.

Got this to go with a 14mm Pragmasis chain I bought a few years ago.
Fits very well through link with only small gap.
Centre pin is very thick so don't think it would be quick to cut with a disc cutter. I expect anyone would therefore go for the chain.
I had my doubts about its use as a disk lock but it does work on my bike with cast wheels - goes between the cast centre and the disc. It may not work for all types.
The lock itself is very smooth and easy to use.
Overall I'm very pleased especially at the price - you can't buy a better lock for that money.
Pragmasis were as usual very quick and efficient.

I am very pleased with the roundlock. I only use it as a disc lock, added my own ‘Remove before Flight’ warning safety pin and it is great. I can sleep a bit better at night now
I was previously using an Oxford Omega disc lock, but these are ridiculously easy to break after checking-out some YouTube videos.
If I could improve it, I’d make the black plastic on it dayglo or red colour to be more noticeable as a disc lock.
Service was good, ordered it late on Monday and got it Wednesday.

Excellent sturdy, easily transported lock. Fast delivery and very good communication from the seller. Unfortunately it seems to incompatible with most of my bikes, I bought it to secure my 1978 kawasaki z650 but it wound not fit in the hole in the disc or rear sprocket, wouldn't fit harley fat boy discs or bmw hs1100 wheels either. I'm using it on my triumph street triple 675 and it works perfectly. If you have a modern bike with normal discs don't hesitate to buy this lock, for somthing older or oddball do a little homework first. This would be a 5 star review except for the fitment issue.

My MT07 was recently stolen so upgrading security for my next bike. This has consistently been recommended as one of the best disc locks you can buy - I’ll be investing in their chains too. You’ll have to Houdini to steal my freaking bike!

These guys take security very seriously, know their products and are willing to advise to make sure the customer gets best option for the application/s .... my order has included Noose Chains, Round Locks & Dib Locks all keyed alike ... I got this after reading some excellent reviews, and I am not disappointed. It's small and easily portable, can double as a disc lock and as a chain padlock. It's polished and well finished. Now I am not an expert lock-picker or padlock breaker frankly, and I have the feeling that this is going to be tough for the baddies to crack. Definitely recommended. Only glitch the plastic keyhole cap broke after a few weeks, a minor thing, I will try to replace it.

I’ve got the 19mm chain but the round lock flops around all over the place,and because in the video he holds the lock at the top of the link of course there’s no where to attack but soon as you let go there’s about three inches to get in and attack it,and yet to find a disc it fits on

I'm very sorry you are not impressed. I have not heard about you making any comments back to us so please get in touch via e-mail or phone or Facebook and we will see what we can do. Regarding your comments on the RoundLock and the 19mm chain (I don't know if you're using it with our Protector 19mm or a chain from another manufacturer?) then you need to use the RoundLock Combo (RL21A) socket to get compatibility, and it will occupy around 30mm of the 100mm internal clearance of the link. However, that 100mm also has 19mm of additional obstruction from the preceding chain link, and another 19mm of obstruction from the interlocked opposite end link, so there is actually a gap of around 100 - (2 x 19) - (e.g.) 30mm = 32mm of actual remaining clearance in real-world usage. Given that this space is sitting in between a bulky chain link and the side of the RoundLock, it is nigh-on impossible for a thief to get any credible form of attack going within that gap. If you have another form of attack in mind that could exploit such a small and awkward gap then please e-mail us with details as we don't know of anything that any thief could benefit from.
Regarding the compatibility with brake discs, that is simply down to the dimensions that we publish for the lock as compared to the openings in your brake discs. I am sorry if you were expecting it to fit and it doesn't. If you wish to get in touch to request a return and refund, then we would be happy to look at that for you?]
