Great ground anchor using resin capsules.

Big enough to secure both a motorcycle chain and cycle chain.

Straightforward to fit using the excellent video instructions. You’ll need a decent drill as mine wasn’t up to the job and I had to borrow a bigger one.

Very well made. Superbly packaged and delivered with a timed slot so no hanging around all day. The instructions and installation video are very clear and really help. The detail in the product and what it comes with are exemplary. It comes with absolutely everything from a marked masonry bit to a brush to remove debris from the threads and holes and a tube to vacuum out the debris. Add a hex screw for a drill and a bolt with a dimple to hammer home the ball bearings. Others should follow this companies service and practice. Excellent Comms to from David. Last for ever. I had problems though with the resin capsules as my concrete wasn’t good enough and 2 of the capsules just disappeared and didn’t break. Fortunately David at Pragmasis came to my rescue and suggested using the injection resin. He was really helpful and gave lots of suggestions and besides the product being 5 stars, I’m also giving 5 stars for the great customer service. I also bought the 2m Protector 13mm chain and round lock, which is very substantial and easily goes around 3 bikes. I now feel like I can sleep easy keeping my expensive bikes in the shed.

Well made, tough and exactly what I needed. Just make sure that you have decent concrete to secure to!...This is far more substantial than a similar product that I bought on the high street previously and is recommended.

I have a 19mm protector chain going through it along with another chain to secure my bike.

Delivered bang on time, very well packaged. Instructions are excellent and all the bits in the box make installation a pleasure. Clearly top quality and very well thought out. Fixed it to the concrete floor in about 40 minutes, all very straightforward. Just take your time and have everything to hand. Would recommend.

A terrific bit of kit and good value considering the quality.
I have just one niggle, unlike the resin shown in the video I received the glass capsules. Having drilled the holes and cleaned them as advised so that the bolts just dropped in. Fine but then would the glass tubes just drop in, no. They got stuck half way down. I carefully removed three of them and was able to widen the holes with a fresh drill, but one just broke and I had to stuff the bolt in as best I could. After 24hrs the anchor appears to be totally secure, but it was a worrying moment. Otherwise all the help given was first class.
{PRagmasis Comment: We have videos that show both the resin capsule fitting sequence, and another that shows the injection resin, in a cartridge. There should not normally be an issue with the holes being under-size for the resin capsules, though. Apologies that you had a problem. That can be caused by a piece of flint or other really hard element in the concrete, part-way down the hole. The SDS+ drill bits and drills can be better at bashing through exceptionally tough concrete. It is always a good idea to leave the resin to set and then give it a jolly good tug, just to make sure. I'm glad it is solid. In a way, having really tough concrete is a good problem to have, but I apologise again for the concern that it caused.]

Once it is installed properly you will need a tank to pluck it out.Very happy with a purchase. Highy quality product (as everything else which comes from Pragmasis.)

Takes an hour to install but it’s a straightforward task. Once fitted the anchor is solid and works well with the 16mm chain.

The ground anchor and 19mm chain with round lock make for a serious deterrent. The service and advice was excellent. The video on "how to use the resin fitting kit" is idiot proof and is essential viewing.

I contacted David via email on the Sunday. We had just bought two new e-bikes and we had no idea about what we needed to comply with our Insurance Company. First thing Monday morning we received a very detailed email with advice and links to the products we needed. Within a couple of days we had our Torc Ground Anchor, 13mm Chain Protector and two DIB-190 (Keyed Alike ) Locks. The Torc Ground Anchor is an excellent piece of security kit, that I thoroughly recommend. I use the ground anchor for securing my mountain bike to our concrete garage floor and it provides a very strong anchor point.
Pragamsis are excellent too, as I have had first hand experience of their after sales support - great communication, fast to answer any questions - truly A class.

No one has tried to steal my stuff, but it looks like they'll simply be frustrated by a rock solid lock and chain, held down by this beast. Many thanks for creating something decent. Not sure why others don't, but happy to keep buying these each time a new location requires one.

Delivery of a Torc Ground Anchor, a Beefy Bridge plus two 13mm chains and Roundlocks received from DPD a couple of days ago. What a piece of kit !, well packaged, superbly finished and expertly made. Nice to see well engineered British made products as opposed to oriental copies. I now have a classic Lambretta scooter and a Velosolex moped securely fastened up to daunt any thief. If your looking for security products don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.

I bought the Torc Ground Anchor to allow me to securely store my bike outside. It's a great piece of kit - very simple, but ever so strong when combined with a heavy duty chain and shackle. Fitting is very straight forward - the instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. I used the expanding bolts and adhesive to make absolutely certain it's going nowhere - better to be safe than sorry. A little tip; when hammering in the ballbearings, put a towel on the ground underneath because otherwise if you drop one you'll never find it again! The customer service provided by Pragmasis was superb - great communication, detailed updates on delivery times and happy to send a couple of extra ballbearings to replace the one I lost! Thanks very much for your help!

DPD delivery time was accurate. The instructional video gave me the confidence to fit the anchor as I'm not much of a DIYer. The provision of an SDS drill bit was an added bonus. Coupled with the 16mm chain and a Dlink I'm confident my bike is safe.

Really impressed with the simplicity and strength of this ground anchor. Unfortunately the resin plugs didn't work for me, so Steve sent me some rawl bolts instead, and it's now solid as a rock; not going anywhere. Having the SDS drill bits and cleaning pipe were very much appreciated. Overall excellent after-sale service from Steve.

I need to transport bicycles on the back of my pick up truck. If I have to leave them unattended, unless they are secured someone will just easily lift them. This ground anchor with the van fittings was the perfect solution, paired with the 16mm chain, no one is going to find it easy to take my bike away from me.

I am not very practical so I did need to take this to a body shop to fit, BUT it took them no time at all.

Ecellent service from Pragmasis and advise. I ordered the wrong side chain at first and they were very good with replacing it.

Just finished installing Torc Ground Anchor, really impressed by the quality of the product, the packaging and the really helpful instructions. This product has clearly been well designed, and much thought put into how the customer is going to use it. All in all great value and highly recommended. A product to last a lifetime.

I have searched the web (eBay, utube, Google, etc.) and I could not find anything better (or equivalent) for cheaper!!
OTHER 16mm chains profess to be “uncroppable” but there are posts and videos that prove otherwise.
I only ever want to buy this kit once, and I hope it is never actually needed. The cost is cheap when compared to a loss of a valuable item, the damage caused, the trauma of the violation and the peace of mind of a purchase that will offset this risk.
I am really looking forward to your kit arriving (in a very nerdy way!)

This is an excellent very solid bit of kit. Received the day after ordering. The fitting instructions are very comprehensive and the floor fitting kit provided is also excellent and included everything you need - even down to a plastic tube to vacuum out the holes. I thought I might need an SDS drill, but the 12mm drill bit included was of very good quality and easily did the job with a hammer drill. The ground anchor is now fitted and is as solid as a rock. Highly recommended.

Such a great ground anchor that I brought another! As I’ve said in an earlier review of the other, Pragmasis provide you with such a comprehensive fitting kit to suit your needs and comprehensive instructions that it’s pretty much impossible to fit it wrong. The ground anchor when not in use lays flat on the floor and out of the way. It’s really a sturdy bit of kit gives me such peace of mind. Also just to say that there’s so much info about security on this website, really good helpful hints and tips. Nice to know Pragmasis care.
