I recently had a disaster with a different ground anchor and the Torc anchor from Pragmasis was far easier to install even for a DIYphobe like myself. The instructions and online video are excellent. The anchor is neat when not in use and can take much bigger chains than the standard anchors available. I feel a lot happier with this product than the more commonly used anchors available. I will probably install another in my garage for the front wheel as well as it was so easy to install!

After some helpful e-mail selection advice it arrived as promised the next day. Following the clear and comprehensive instructions, it was easily fitted in under an hour (floor fitting with injection resin kit). Certainly feels reassuringly solid and well secured! Fits a 16mm Protector chain and a smaller chain already I had with no problems.

Very impressed with the whole process and end result. It's a well made, strong anchor. Worth every penny. Judging by the weight and quality of it, it will would be a tough nut to crack for any little rotter!

Torc Anchor arrived very quickly and was very well packed. Insructions were very clear. I had already seen the 'how to' video so had a good idea already on what was required. This product is a fantastic piece of engineering in its own right and I am extremely happy with the security and tidiness of the TORC anchor. A brilliant product at an affordable price.

Fitted the anchor to my garage wall above a Thule 2 bike holder. Very happy with the result. Finished with a 13mm chain and top quality padlock gives massive peace of mind. Very easy to fit, I recommend using a Pritt stick on the ball bearings if wall fitting save the buggers falling on the floor! [Pragmasis Comment: A short bolt is included in the kit to help with holding & fitting the ball bearings, but a touch of Pritt glue as well wouldn't do any harm :-)]

Fantastic service and the anchor itself is a very good piece of engineering.
I chose the resin capsules fitting kit and my god the resin is strong!
I was slightly sceptical at first but after installing it, leaving it for 12 hours and then trying it pull it out of the ground I'm very impressed.
Instructions were very clear and the fitting kit is very good.

The anchor arrived incredibly quickly with a lot of communication from the supplier. The anchor is very easy to install, even for someone not used to DIY. It's incredibly strong and matches my Almax IV chain very well.

Get the right kit for hard concrete and installation is easy. Great instructions, completely clear for a brightish but inexperienced diy chap. Arrived super quick and once in the closed shackle locks and chains are just superb.

Firstly I should say I bought this ground anchor (+ chain/lock) to protect my mountain bikes, very expensive mountain bikes. I've been lucky so far that nobody has broke into my garage and rode off 6k+ of bikes, time was right to be proactive. I bought the Torc anchor, 13mm chain (3m) and the Squire SS50CS combo deal. Do not buy the 16mm for a mtb, too big. Delivery was next day, brilliant. I was surprised that 3m of chain, lock and anchor could fit in such a small but very heavy package.

This in not IKEA packaging/instructions. Video on this site is top notch and all contents were in individual jiffy bags, something I've not come across before. Installation was pretty easy, although remember good concrete is very hard. I have a full size mains powered Bosch SDS drill and my fillings were coming loose, so a little one handed drill will not cut it.

Being "old school" a resin secured anchor is odd to say the least, but I bow to greater knowledge. I should say I followed the video tutorial to the letter, it's there for a reason, use it. Once installed it's low profile (great) and accepts the 13mm chain with ease. Any scumbag wanting to nick my bikes better turn up with a diamond tipped angle grinder, otherwise don't bother.

After watching the videos and reading provided instructions fitted one the same evening, encountered no problems as everything required is provided.
Yet to secure anything to the anchor but does appear to be VERY secure/strong.

Went shopping and bought a 16mm Chain + Anti-pinch pin + Squire padlock + Ground anchor Torc and I'm impressed with the quality of all products including the fitting instructions, etc. I've spent around 300GBP for everything.. yes it doesn't "look" cheap but neither the motorbike I'm riding so spending 1.5% of the value of the bike in security is not that expensive. As a new arrival to the UK I spent weeks researching any source I could for how well ground anchors work. I never used them in the US... always had a garage. What I found is that most will work very well, Pragmasis' Torc Anchor will just do it better!

I recently bought the product after seeing some reviews and considering it is police approved I had to have one, and I'm so glad I did, if you follow the instructions as written in the excellently packaged product items, it is a doddle to fit and is absolutely solid and an extremely professional piece of equipment and considering it comes with nearly everything you need it is a bargain, please watch the video for your product as these help immensely and also as in the video, please use a vacuum to clean out the hole with the supplied tubing as if you just blow them out it can cause a huge plume of dust, it's surprising how much there is down there, and get yourself a decent hammer drill, to not only drill the hole, but to also insert the bolts, it'll make the job a hole lot easier, so stop looking at other products and buy this one, I've tried others and they're no where as neat or tough as this one.

I rarely make the time to submit reviews or feedback, but had to make an exception. In short, the glowing praise from others is entirely appropriate. The thorough email support and instructions make the installation simple. I've never known such thoughtfulness on the part of a manufacturer/seller. I bought the torc anchor/13mm chain/squire SS50C package, and it's a pretty intimidating set-up from a thief's point of view; gives me plenty of confidence leaving my bike out front of my house.
I'm just grateful I chanced across Pragmasis while searching on the internet for fitting Kryptonite and Abus anchors...

Well written & very clear buying advice on the website. Not as ridiculously big, as the alternatives to fit a 19mm security chain (replaced a kyptonite unit that wouldn't). Great bit of simple but heavy duty security hardware, throughly recommended

I had no problems with the installation of the Ground Anchor which I have fixed to a brick wall behind my shed lining. The instructions were superb very clear and easy to follow. I have the Protector chains and padlock to go with this. It all looks well made and very heavy even though I only have the 11mm chain. This should satisfy my insurance company as all the products are Secure Gold rated. Any thief will think twice about tackling these beasts should they ever break into my shed. Should also add that delivery was very fast. Everything was well packed. If there is a criticism then it could be that the carrier does not give you a time window for delivery. I just happened to be in when the package arrived.

After sorting out which post office to delivery The anchor arrived within 48 hours of purchase and was very well packed. Fantastic customer service.

The anchor itself is a beast, which is exactly what I was looking for. I have installed it on the wall of a galvanised steel bike shed and so ordered the van/Metal bike shed fixings.

The instructions where very detailed and clear and the overall installation took just over an hour. I used a cone cut drill head for drilling the holes in the shed, as recommended and I was pleased I did.

The only issue I have had is hammering the ball bearings into the bolt heads but I eventually got there.

Overall build of the anchor and fixings are incredibly solid.

The Torc Ground Anchor is a top quality product and one which I hope will never be tested. I have no doubt whatsoever that it is a great deterrent and one which is very hard to break.
