Found a couple of ground anchor reviews in bicycle magazines and this was always top. Having fitted it I can see why, real quality product. I secured it into a concrete shed base and found the instructions and kit supplied brilliant, also included some extra bits to reduce the chances of improper fitting, e.g. mini brush for cleaning out the holes. Very glad I went for this.

I have two of these fitted in our garage with accompanied chains by Pragmasis. Very easy to fit following the instructions provided. Even the new resin fixed bolts have secured nicely.

Really worth the price with the delivery, service and quality on offer. Also knowing the assured Police/insurance standards are met.

Don't bother looking elsewhere. I didn't, after the first lot of anchors and chains I bought here a while back!

This is a superb product, its massively over-engineered (in the best sense of the word) and will give any would be thief whose stupid enough to try to defeat it real problems.

I opted for the resin capsule method of installation and the fitting kit contained absolutely everything required, all I had to provide was the mains powered electric hammer drill.


Despite never previously used resin capsules I had the job done in about an hour, its really straightforward if you follow the excellent comprehensive instructions and once the resin has fully cured the installation is rock solid.

Having had multiple bike thefts it’s a relief to find a product of such high quality, both in manufacture and design. The customer service was fantastic too - Pragmasis couldn’t have been more helpful. If you have a bike you value, don’t hesitate to install a Torc anchor!

The Torc Ground Anchor is a great piece of kit. We installed it in fresh concrete and, together with the Protector 16mm Chain and RoundLock, provides the best possible security for my vehicle transporter trailer. David Briggs was very responsive and his pre-sales advice extremely helpful in selecting the right products.

Ordered this after doing a lot of research and talking to David at Pragmasis who was really helpful, approachable and knowledgeable about the product. Super easy to install as it comes with very comprehensive instructions, you literally cannot install it wrong following step by step! Comes with absolutely everything you need. Service was absolutely stellar from Pragmasis too! Super solid quality product, will be buying another one in the not so distant
future and one of the chains!

Product seems solid. Package contained everything needed to do a good job and advice was excellentl. For drilling into tough concrete I recommend a corded SDS drill. I wasted a lot of time with my old hammer drill before treating myself. £100 well spent.

I first purchased the Torc Anchor 7 years ago to secure my mountain bikes. Just moved house, annoyed I couldn't take it with me. I struggled to decided between the Torc vs Beefy ground anchors for the new garage.
After fitting the Torc anchor yesterday I am glad I chose it again. Its fantastic, super strong and folds almost flat when not in use. Highly recommend, David is very helpful. I wouldn't order security products from anyone else.

This ground anchor is very sturdy and extremely easy to fit. Teamed up with the 22mm chain and round lock I am confident that my bike will be staying put for the foreseeable future!

Very pleased with this purchase. Beautifully solid and very easy to assemble. I left it to my builder to mix the concrete but that part is easy too!

Excellent service and excellent product. The only negative is the drill bit supplied was of little use with the end falling out after half of one hole. Used a smaller SDS pilot then correct sized SDS and the job was easy. [Pragmasis Comment: I'm sorry the drill fell to pieces! I've never heard of that happening since we switched to our current supplier. Previous suppliers certainly caused problems like that, but that was 2+ years ago and now we buy direct from the factory so quality is normally consistently good. It sounds like this was an exception so I apologise. I'm glad you had an SDS drill, and indeed a pilot, too, so were able to sort it for yourself. SDS are always miles better than 'DIY' style straight shank drills, and we do offer an SDS drill as an option, but our standard one still shouldn't fall apart!]

The torc anchor is so easy to fit. Following the instructions and watching the videos made it childs play, the hardest decision was where to put it. It's now fitted in my garage and as solid as a rock. My bike is going nowhere if I don't want it to!

Everyone recommended this one and I go for it.
The anchor is very solid, well finished, and for me the best relation quality/price.

I bought the Torc II ground anchor based on the great reviews. It took me a while to decide where to put it, and to pluck up the courage to start drilling - what a fool I was. Just follow the super instructions to the letter and installation is a breeze. Wait overnight and we are rock solid. Coupled with the 16mm chain I sleep soundly knowing my bike isn't going anywhere without a lot of noise and a lot of hassle. Fantastic product and fantastic service. Just fit it!!

Such a great ground anchor that I brought another! As I’ve said in an earlier review of the other, Pragmasis provide you with such a comprehensive fitting kit to suit your needs and comprehensive instructions that it’s pretty much impossible to fit it wrong. The ground anchor when not in use lays flat on the floor and out of the way. It’s really a sturdy bit of kit gives me such peace of mind. Also just to say that there’s so much info about security on this website, really good helpful hints and tips. Nice to know Pragmasis care.

This is an excellent very solid bit of kit. Received the day after ordering. The fitting instructions are very comprehensive and the floor fitting kit provided is also excellent and included everything you need - even down to a plastic tube to vacuum out the holes. I thought I might need an SDS drill, but the 12mm drill bit included was of very good quality and easily did the job with a hammer drill. The ground anchor is now fitted and is as solid as a rock. Highly recommended.

I have searched the web (eBay, utube, Google, etc.) and I could not find anything better (or equivalent) for cheaper!!
OTHER 16mm chains profess to be “uncroppable” but there are posts and videos that prove otherwise.
I only ever want to buy this kit once, and I hope it is never actually needed. The cost is cheap when compared to a loss of a valuable item, the damage caused, the trauma of the violation and the peace of mind of a purchase that will offset this risk.
I am really looking forward to your kit arriving (in a very nerdy way!)

Just finished installing Torc Ground Anchor, really impressed by the quality of the product, the packaging and the really helpful instructions. This product has clearly been well designed, and much thought put into how the customer is going to use it. All in all great value and highly recommended. A product to last a lifetime.

I need to transport bicycles on the back of my pick up truck. If I have to leave them unattended, unless they are secured someone will just easily lift them. This ground anchor with the van fittings was the perfect solution, paired with the 16mm chain, no one is going to find it easy to take my bike away from me.

I am not very practical so I did need to take this to a body shop to fit, BUT it took them no time at all.

Ecellent service from Pragmasis and advise. I ordered the wrong side chain at first and they were very good with replacing it.

Really impressed with the simplicity and strength of this ground anchor. Unfortunately the resin plugs didn't work for me, so Steve sent me some rawl bolts instead, and it's now solid as a rock; not going anywhere. Having the SDS drill bits and cleaning pipe were very much appreciated. Overall excellent after-sale service from Steve.

DPD delivery time was accurate. The instructional video gave me the confidence to fit the anchor as I'm not much of a DIYer. The provision of an SDS drill bit was an added bonus. Coupled with the 16mm chain and a Dlink I'm confident my bike is safe.

I bought the Torc Ground Anchor to allow me to securely store my bike outside. It's a great piece of kit - very simple, but ever so strong when combined with a heavy duty chain and shackle. Fitting is very straight forward - the instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. I used the expanding bolts and adhesive to make absolutely certain it's going nowhere - better to be safe than sorry. A little tip; when hammering in the ballbearings, put a towel on the ground underneath because otherwise if you drop one you'll never find it again! The customer service provided by Pragmasis was superb - great communication, detailed updates on delivery times and happy to send a couple of extra ballbearings to replace the one I lost! Thanks very much for your help!

Delivery of a Torc Ground Anchor, a Beefy Bridge plus two 13mm chains and Roundlocks received from DPD a couple of days ago. What a piece of kit !, well packaged, superbly finished and expertly made. Nice to see well engineered British made products as opposed to oriental copies. I now have a classic Lambretta scooter and a Velosolex moped securely fastened up to daunt any thief. If your looking for security products don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.

No one has tried to steal my stuff, but it looks like they'll simply be frustrated by a rock solid lock and chain, held down by this beast. Many thanks for creating something decent. Not sure why others don't, but happy to keep buying these each time a new location requires one.

The Torc Ground Anchor is an excellent piece of security kit, that I thoroughly recommend. I use the ground anchor for securing my mountain bike to our concrete garage floor and it provides a very strong anchor point.
Pragamsis are excellent too, as I have had first hand experience of their after sales support - great communication, fast to answer any questions - truly A class.

I contacted David via email on the Sunday. We had just bought two new e-bikes and we had no idea about what we needed to comply with our Insurance Company. First thing Monday morning we received a very detailed email with advice and links to the products we needed.
