Born form real-world security challenges
In 2003, after a theft left our bikes gone and our confidence shaken, we set out to design better security. What began as a personal mission has become a trusted UK- security brand supplying thousands of riders and institutions. We build products that work at a price that works too.

Our products are designed, prototyped and tested at our UK headquarters and then subjected to some of the toughest independent tests by the likes of Sold Secure and leading consumer publications. New beginning
Pragmasis launches
We started in 2003 with a clear mission: to produce the world's best motorcycle security products.
Over 21 years later that mission hasn't changed.

Revolutionary ground anchor
The Torc Series I is launched
Following a year of prototyping and in-house testing, our first Torc ground anchor went on sale. We called it the Torc Series I and it was Sold Secure approved a year later. The Torc Series III that you can buy today, traces its roots back to this original.
Chain reaction
Protector chains launched
We developed our range of Protector chains, to pair with our Torc ground anchors and Squire locks. The 16mm diameter was the first chain we sold, swiftly followed by the 10mm and 13mm diameters. The Protector 19mm followed-on a year later.
Pushing industry standards
Secured by Design approval
Over the years we have worked closely with independent security organisations to help push for better testing, standards and categories, to help the end consumer make an easier and better choice. In 2011 we were accredited by Secured by Design, the official police security initiative.
The best got better
Torc Series III
The best just got better! In June 2020 we launched the Series III Torc Mega and Torc Maxi ground anchors. Both the Torc Mega and the Torc Maxi feature a fully forged construction with 22mm thick forged D-Shackles and forged base plates.
Improved shed security
Super Shed Shackle
We improved our original Shed Shackle by making it stronger and easier to fit. It achieved a Sold Secure Gold rating, up from the previous Shed Shackle's Bronze. It's part of our mission to turn your shed into a fortress.
