Security Chains

Security chains are one of the most versatile and visible deterrents against theft. All of our chins are a minimum of Sold Secure Gold rated and meet the police-preferred specification. Our chains are bolt-cutter proof and provide excellent resistance to grinders and freeze or sledgehammer attacks. Our range includes 11mm, 13mm, 16mm, 19mm and 22mm chain, including Noose options. Our hardened steel security chains differ from a normal chain as they have been produced using an alloy to improve their strength and heat-treated and coated to further strengthen the chain against sawing and bolt-cropping.

Smaller chains (e.g., 11mm, 13mm) balance weight and protection for everyday use, while larger chains (16mm, 19mm, 22mm) suit long-term anchoring at home or in high-risk areas.

The chain thickness you choose depends on a few factors: portability, price and performance against attack. All of our chains will resist freeze attacks, sledgehammers, angle grinders and bolt croppers.

A chain is only as good as the fixed point it attaches to — consider a ground anchor or secure post when pairing your chain.
