11mm Sold Secure Gold chain with oversized noose ring on one end.
We launched the 11mm premium hardened steel chain over 15 years ago. Despite us manufacturing thicker chains, we still produce the 11mm as it remains popular. One end of the chain has an oversized 13mm ring link and you can loop the chain through this ring to create a noose. This means you can use a shorter chain than normal and loop it around a fixed object.
A relatively lightweight option, but it works with most popular D-locks and many customers use these with a D-lock to secure their bicycle, by locking the frame with the D-lock and using the chain to secure the wheels. It's also an excellent grade to secure garden equipment.
Independently approved by the experts at Sold Secure, it also meets the Secured By Design police preferred specification. It's a great budget option for those looking for good security at a wallet-friendly price.
