An angle-grinder-resistant D-lock can be extremely difficult to cut. But if your bike isn’t attached to anything, thieves don’t necessarily have to cut the lock—they can simply lift the bike into a van and deal with it later.
The Buddy Chain closes that gap.
Pass each rider’s D-lock through one end of the chain and two individually protected bikes become one much heavier, more awkward object. They’re harder to separate, harder to manoeuvre and considerably harder to carry away.
Unlike a conventional security chain, the Buddy Chain is deliberately short and compact. It gives two riders the additional security of being locked together without either person having to carry a full-length chain and padlock.
