Popular for portable security with the Protector 11mm chains. Please be wary that the 11mm chains are not officially motorcyle-rated but this disc lock may be sufficient to comply with insurance requirements independent of which chain you use it with - We recommend you check with your insurer if this is a concern. Securing your bike with a chain as well as this lock, even a lightweight chain, can make a big difference to the deterrent effect. A disc lock alone leaves the bike still vulnerable to being lifted and moved away, whereas chaining your bike to a solid object such as street furtniture forces a thief to defeat the security before the bike can be moved.

Note: Not recommended for use with 16mm or larger chains!
