Versatile design
Provided in Wide and Narrow versions for the Left side bracket, and for the Right side bracket. Choose the width of each to select Wide-Wide, Wide-Narrow, Narrow-Wide, or Narrow-Narrow, as required.
Spacer plates are an optional extra (sold separately) to adjust when the shed door and door frame are not quite level.
Suitable for a wide variety of shed and door designs (multiple fixing holes allow you to customise the fit for your particular application, and the wide brackets have more holes).
Which length bolts do I need?
We supply eight M8 coach bolt fixings and 8 standard nuts (4 bolts each for both sides) and a drill bit, allowing you to easily fit your Shed Shield in minutes. In order to choose the best bolt length, add 15mm to the *total* timber thickness. A longer bolt than is neccessary is fine, it will just mean more thread is sticking out on the inside of your door.
The full Fitting Instructions are available to view online.
M8 shear nuts and plastic thread caps are available in our Extras and Upgrades-Hardware section, if required. (Normal fixings include standard M8 nuts as there is normally no advantage in using shear nuts on the inside of a door.)
Note: This listing is for the Shed Shield main brackets plus fixings only, without a RoundLock and without any spacer plates.
