Simply using a chain and padlock around your bike doesn’t stop theft — a determined thief can lift the bike into a van. A bolt-down ground anchor fixed to solid ground or concrete changes the game. No anchor is completely undefeatable but the Beefy is highly resistant to angle-grinders, bolt-croppers and prying attacks. Unlike a two-bolt anchor, you won't be able to lever this out of the ground.

Installation typically takes 30 minutes using standard hand-tools. Detailed step-by-step instructions are provided, guiding you to achieve a secure fixing — without needing specialist tools or skills.

Not recommended for installation onto blockwork walls and not suitable for fixing to paving slabs or block paving.

A ground anchor is only as good as the substrate it's mounted to.

Recommended substrate

We recommend you mount the Beefy Bridge to a solid concrete slab that's at least 80mm thick. A typical garage floor is ideal.

You can also mount to regular brickwork walls. We recommend you fit this anchor at least 2.0m from the top of the wall and 0.3m from the end of the wall. This is because the expanding bolts exert a force on the structure of the wall and can cause mortar or masonry to crack. Bear in mind that a thief can attempt to smash your wall down, especially if it's a low wall. So choose a brick wall only if other substrates or locations are not available.

The Beefy Bridge is not suitable for installation on paving slabs, flagstones or other hollow surfaces.

How to Use — Complete Your Security Setup

• Bolt the anchor securely to a solid floor or pad using the supplied kit.
• Pass a heavy-duty security chain (e.g., 16 mm or 19 mm) through your motorcycle frame/wheel and anchor.
• Secure the chain with a hardened padlock.
