The Solution
The Watchman provides an effective way to reinforce wooden shed doors, replacing weak Brenton bolts and tower bolts with a heavy-duty shrouded padlock bracket and anti-tamper fixings.
Traditional shed door hasps and security bolts are often the weakest point of a door and can be easily pried, cut, or simply unscrewed.
The Watchman provides a far more secure alternative, allowing the door to be locked using a high-security padlock within a protective steel bracket.
Designed and manufactured in the UK from robust 5mm thick steel and finished with a durable corrosion-resistant coating, the Watchman mounts directly to the face of a wooden door and the frame in the same position as a conventional door bolt. Once installed, the bracket forms a protective housing around the padlock, helping to shield it from bolt cutters, angle grinders, and levering attacks.
The eight supplied DIN603 coach bolts provide a strong, anti-tamper fixing for a highly secure installation.
The Watchman features two locking holes for maximum compatibility. The larger 24mm hole is specifically designed to suit the Roundlock with its 21mm shackle, while the second 16mm universal hole accommodates standard padlocks. This allows users to choose between common padlocks or the high-security Roundlock — you can even run two locks for ultimate protection.
Ideal for improving shed door security on garden sheds, workshops, garages, and timber outbuildings, the Watchman offers a simple yet highly effective way to protect valuable tools and equipment.

HOW THE WATCHMAN WORKS
1. Remove the existing Brenton bolt or tower bolt.
2. Install the Watchman bracket using the supplied coach bolts.
3. Close the door and secure with a padlock or Roundlock.
4. The shrouded bracket protects the padlock from cutting attacks.
