Replace your old or damaged sleeve with a length of pre-cut and pre-hemmed Protector bronze-colour woven polyester chain sleeving.
This is supplied *only* for use with our Protector 11mm, 13mm, 16mm, 19mm and 22mm chains.
What's included:
- Chain sleeve
- 2 x cable ties
Please be careful to choose the correct chain gauge and also the required sleeving length. (Multiple sleeves can be joined end-to-end with a cable tie for longer lengths.)
Sleeve replacement method:
- Hang your chain from a suitable hook
- Cut the cable ties and slide off the old sleeve
- Slide on the new sleeve from the bottom up
- Position the end of the sleeve in the middle of the second link and slide the cable tie through the eyelets
- Connect the cable tie, pull it tight, and cut off the end
- Flip the chain and repeat the process
Fitments and widths:
11mm = Sleeve width is approx 70mm
13mm = approx 80mm
16mm = approx 98mm
19mm = approx 115mm
22mm = approx 130mm
The 11mm sleeve will also fit 13mm Pragmasis chains, although it is tighter.
The 22mm sleeve will fit 19-22mm Pragmasis chains and is roomier on the 19mm.
Please note:
No chains or locks included.
The actual length of the sleeve is marginally shorter than the chain length, as we cut it to fit to the second chain link while leaving enough length to allow the chain to be wrapped around objects.
