The Hiplok D1000 is Hiplok's first anti-angle-grinder D-lock. They have also released the DX1000 which is a larger version of the D1000.

Hardly any chains fit this lock, due to its thick coating around the shackle. However Pragmasis has a chain that fits the Hiplok DX1000.

Pictured above is the DX1000 paired with our Protector 22mm chain - it is a snug fit but it does fit! Some owners have trimmed a bit of the Hiplock's sheath away to make it easiest to locate the lock on the chain.

Interestingly, the Hiplok has an angular design because it uses ferosafe inserts, which is what gives it is angle-grinder resistance. However ferosafe is also hard ot shame and so it's supplied in straight lengths. Hence the Hiplock's 50p piece shape!
