The HS1 Heavy Duty Hasp & Staple held Sold Secure Silver approval in the “Security Padlocks and Fittings” category in 2023. It also received Secured by Design accreditation.

Particularly suitable for high-security closed-shackle locks such as the Squire SS50CS, SS50C-Combi and SS65CS, it is ideal for securing a shed door or wooden double doors.

We designed the HS1 hasp & staple to be tougher than virtually any other hasp on the market. It is the first line of defence and one of the most important to get right.

Hardened 12mm-thick staple.
Eight M8 coach bolts securing both sides: four for the hasp and four for the staple.
Fully concealed fixings on both sides.
Welded hinge pin to resist hammering and drilling attacks.
5mm-thick hasp plates and a 12mm-thick laser-cut staple.
Close-fitting staple for compatible Squire padlocks, restricting access for attack tools.
Twelve fixing holes to accommodate a wide variety of shed and door designs.
Straightforward DIY fitting, with a drill bit supplied.
Made in Britain.

When selecting coach bolt length, allow an additional 20mm beyond the total timber thickness.

Shear nuts and plastic thread caps are available separately in our fitting kits and hardware range.
